Gaming Club
What is Gaming Club?
Hello, this is Mr. Hesse and I'd like to welcome you to the Gaming Club application process!
Applications are open August 26th through August 30th!
I'm excited to begin this club and I hope you are able to be a part of it. Read on if you'd like to know more. Questions? Just email me at jhesse@belleville118.org
Gaming Club is a very inclusive group and is accepting COMPETITIVE, CASUAL, and CREATIVE gamers! Our first group of 16 members goes from the first Monday in September to the last Monday of December. Our second group of 16 starts on our first Monday of January of 2025 and will end on our last Monday in April. Gaming club will be accepting applications starting Monday, August 26th with a firm deadline of Friday, August 30th.
COMPETITIVE: We are searching for gamers who are wanting to compete not only against each other, but other schools! The current games are Fortnite, 2K24, Mariokart, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!
CASUAL: We are also searching for gamers who want a more casual experience where they are open to trying all types of games, but may or may not be interested in competition with others, but more of pushing their own skills and improving each week.
CREATIVE: Our final, but just as awesome group would be our Animal Crossing, Minecraft, Mario Makers, or Scratch Coders, etc. These members want to create and make things, including coding.
Note: There is no Booster Club fee for this club. Also, remember that the club capacity is 16 students per session. You may or may not be selected due to many applicants, so make sure yours stands out! You will receive an email stating whether you were selected and which session you belong to by September 3rd. If you do not make it, don't fear. We have members who do not always stay eligible and you might be called to take their spot later in the year. Speaking of eligibility, you must be passing all classes similar to athletics to keep your spot in Gaming Club. Same rules apply for behavior as well just like WJH athletics.
