Enjoy your day off All Stars 🌟
This week's "Feel Good Friday" is a shoutout to our students and staff who took the first 12 days to build a solid foundation of skill building and expectations for the remainder of the school year! We celebrated with assemblies shouting out each grade level for amazing progress! We still have work to do but our All Stars are well on their way!!
Thank you so much to Chief Eiskant of all Belleville Police Department and his team that presented today! They talked about supporting our community, supporting one another, and being safe in our community!
Ms. Hisel's 4th grade class worked on teamwork and cooperation through an activity. They were working together to put a puzzle together. One student closed their eyes and the other couldn't use their hands so they had to work together to complete the puzzle! Way to go All Stars!
In 4th grade Ms. Schaefer's class learned how we are all connected in our community and made a web. Then when our web was strong we had some people step back and learned our community is not as strong without everyone! We are all stronger and better together!
Don't forget!
Today in Ms. Knapp's class our 6th grade students did a "Book Tasting" with "Starbooks." Students read books for a few minutes, wrote a short summary, rated the books, shared what they read, and then passed the books to the next person! Students found novels they liked and had a great time at their "Cafe." We are so impressed by their engagement and discussion! Way to go 6th grade, and what a cool idea Ms. Knapp!
Today our All Stars learned about peace and being peacemakers. Second grade discussed ways to be peaceful and have peace, and then created a dove with their fingerprints to signify that they will be peacemakers! A 4th grade All Star wore the best shirt to signify peace. Mr. Essenpreis talked about peace in PE and being responsible with the equipment! Way to go All Stars!
Don't forget that tomorrow is Wednesday, early dismissal! It's the first early dismissal of the year, and it will happen each Wednesday.
Please plan accordingly!
We want to equip our All Stars with lots ok knowledge! Coping and self-regulation are very important. Here are some of our 4th grade students learning to jellyfish breathe! Thanks for teaching this cool skill Mrs. E!

This week's "Feel Good Friday" is a shoutout to our school community for supporting us to make a strong start! The Synapsory donated "Calm Corner Kits" to help our students better regulate themselves and their emotions. District 201 wrote positive messages for our All Stars to read to start the year. Also, our teachers worked incredibly hard to create a classroom environment where our All Stars feel like they belong! We are so proud of our first two days, and we look forward to our first full week!
