Due to the latest round of inclement weather, including potentially hazardous roadways and frigid temperatures, all schools in Belleville District 118 will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, February 19th. It will be a Snow Day. Stay safe and warm.

Good evening, Douglas School Families. In honor of Angelman Syndrome Day this past Saturday, we are asking our students and staff to wear the color blue to school tomorrow, February 18th. Please join us in supporting our students who are battling this challenging disorder. Thank you.

Due to the cold temperatures being predicted for next Thursday, February 20th, the Mobile Market has been cancelled. Weather permitting, they plan to resume the Mobile Market in March. We apologize for this inconvienence, and appreciate your understanding.


Tiger Families, Be aware that due to our day off from school today, the menu choices tomorrow, Feb. 13, will be: Breakfast: Cheesy Eggs & Biscuit / Lunch: French Toast Sticks & Sausage, Turkey & Cheese Croissant, Chef salad & Bosco Stick, or PBJ Sandwich with Sweet Corn, Chilled Applesauce, Gogurt Yogurt & Cold Milk.

District 118 Cheer Clinic
Central Jr High cheerleaders are hosting a cheer clinic for future cheerleaders in District 118 on January 25th from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM @ Central Jr High. We will learn two cheers and perform them for parents at 11:45 AM, and again at our Central home game on the 27th of January at 5:30 PM. This will be a great opportunity for our future cheerleaders to explore the sport, experience teamwork, and expose them to role models who will help them develop their love for cheer and our school.
The cost of the clinic is $25, which can be paid with cash or card on the day of the clinic. Each participant will receive a Cheer Clinic T-Shirt which we will wear during our game performance!

6th Grade Central Jr High Bowling Opportunity
Attention 6th grade students and families! Tryouts for the Central Jr High Bowling team will be held next week! Incoming 6th grade students are permitted to try out. Below are the tryout dates and times:
January 13th & 16th 4:00-5:00pm @ Bel-Air Bowl
Please be reminded that each student must have a current physical on file with your attending school before participating in the tryout. No student will be permitted to try out without a current physical. You may bring an updated copy of the physical to the tryout dates. It is also highly recommended to attend both days of tryouts. Students and families WILL NOT need to pay a lane fee for tryouts.

Due to current road conditions within our school district and to help ensure the safety of our students and staff, there will be no school for District #118 on Tuesday, January 7th.
