February 1 is the start of Black History Month. Black history is a crucial element of world history, and we want to recognize the history, culture, and contributions of Black Americans not only in February but throughout the year! Black History Month gives us a special opportunity to celebrate amazing Black Americans who have impacted the history of our world and honor the too-often neglected accomplishments of Black Americans in every area of endeavor throughout our history.
